Health Certification

All Boer goats are Certified Healthy when you pick them up or receive them delivered. Our local veterinarian will inspect and fill out a health form pertaining to your Boer goats. All Boer goats going to states which require blood testing for TB, Brucellosis and Scrapie tagging will be tested prior to being loaded for shipment. The buyer will pay the testing costs which is usually not more than $15 per head.

Our goats will be registered in the Texas Scrapie Program if they are going out of state. We guarantee their health and will reimburse the price of any Boer goat that dies of a health problem that the goat has been tested for.

We understand that the only profitable way to raise goats is to have healthy goats. We check carefully for worms and other parasites and treat them accordingly. If we find a Boer goat to have symptoms indicating a general or specific health problem, we remove the Boer goat from the herd and tend to its needs. We carefully inspect the herd to avoid any recurring health problems. Please remember that we get a Health Inspection prior to shipping your Boer goats.
